July 2008
Dark Corners Customs is happy to announce the completion of our latest Scion xB project - 8K!

Owner Chris S. was looking for a ride that would “turn heads” and worked with David at Dark Corners Customs to turn his 2005 Scion xB into “8K”. While at Dark Corners Customs, the Thunder Cloud Metallic xB was outfitted with a custom Katzkin black leather and ‘machined silver’ interior, custom Rockford Fosgate sound system, blue LED lighting, Momo steering wheel, Momo shift knob, xbgauges.com gauge faces, custom black suede wrapped headliner and pillars to give it a true “one of a kind” appearance. In addition to interior customizations, Dark Corners Customs added a rear spoiler, color matched GrilleCraft grilles, 10mm rear wheel spacers, blue LED exterior lighting, and rolled the fenders to clear the custom wheels. To finish off 8K David asked Brian Papa of Papa Studios to create and airbrush a custom 8K logo on the back of the xB!

When Chris was asked “Is 8K done?” he replied, “Not yet. I have more plans for 8K, so it will soon be back at Dark Corners Customs for another ‘vacation’!”.
